We need you! This is a volunteer-run, week-long day camp and we need your help. See position descriptions below, and get registered. You won't regret it! It really is the best week of the summer!
ALL volunteers are expected to attend these meetings:
- All Staff Meeting: In April - TBD
- Camp Setup: Sunday, May 31st, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
- Camp Cleanup: Friday, June 5th, 3:30 pm until we're done!

Core Camp Staff - Camp Directors, Camp Business Manager, PA Advisor - these positions are responsible for the planning and administration of the camp.
Unit Leaders - each unit (approximately 10 girls) will have two Unit Leaders each day. The Unit Leaders work closely with their Unit PAs to ensure a safe and fun camp experience. It is preferable Unit Leaders to volunteer for the entire week.
Program Planner - this position designs and, with PAs, runs the program activity for all unit groups. The girls will earn their level badge during the week. This position will work closely with Camp Directors.
Camp Health Care Manager - this position is responsible for maintaining camper medical information and medicines and responding to emergency situations if they arise. First Aid/CPR certification required, medical training (nurse, doctor, EMT) preferred.
Certified Specialty Leaders - waterfront, fishing, archery, high ropes, riflery - these positions work with all units throughout the week. Waterfront certification required for canoes and fishing. Instructor certification required for archery and ropes.
Non-certified Specialty Leaders - crafts, program, boys, small fry - these positions are vital but do not require special certifications.
Lifeguard - responsible for ensuring a safe environment around the pool. Lifeguard certification required. 18 years and older preferred.
Meal Planner - this position is responsible for the planning of 4 meals during the week. Girls 1st-3rd grade receive lunch on Thursday while girls 4th grade and up receive dinner Thursday night, breakfast and lunch on Friday. SafeServ Certification required in order to use camp kitchen.
Please note - ALL volunteers must be registered Girl Scouts with a background check on file with GSNCA.
